Nickelback is cool. I remember 1st hearing and seeing a trailer with Blow me Away. I was blown away. Loved the song.

lol @ Nickelback. Nickelback is a really bad band. If they get a song in Halo 5, I’ll quit. I’d rather have BB do another song ala Blow Me Away which was AMAZING and perfectly timed In Halo 2.
I remember walking into that room, and I pulled out my energy sword right as the guitar hits. So epic. They also had Incubus do a song “Follow” for the 1st Arbiter level Banshee fight.
Yeah have some actual band perform a track. That is one of the reason’s Halo 2 OST is my favourite, it also included Steve Vai on the Unyelding and the Main Theme, Incubus with the Movement of the Odyssey and Breaking Benjamin with Blow me away.
But Nickelback? No, they are terrible and wouldn’t fit the game.
Breaking benjamen are currently broken up do to legal issues between the lead singer and the other members.

And I would be totally cool with bringing some of that music back to halo 5.
I would tolerate having bands perform tracks for Halo 5. But dude, -Yoink- Nickelback. At least hire someone worthy of performing music for a game like Halo.

All of the future Halo’s should have Halo 2’s theme song, the one with the electric guitar. That was a BA theme song.

Yes, I was a major fan of Blow Me Away by Breaking Benjamin featured in Halo 2! You could try Something Heavier maybe but definitely yes! ( I mean im fine either way lighter or heavier, I wont complain if its cool)
