Robot arms should return?

Just a general question really would you like (Or have liked) to see robot arms return in Halo 5 or if its too late future Halo games? I mean I saw no harm in them in Halo reach and to be honest It gives other Spartans a more unique look. I liked running around in Halo: Reach and seeing the odd Spartan with a robot arm. Also if possible for future halo games we should be able to decide which arm.

No. “Seeing the odd Spartan with the Robot Arm”.

You mean seeing practically every Spartan with the robot arm, large shoulder pads, Emile helmet and lightening effect? Practically everyone had that silly Robot arm and what was supposed to be a unique and different armor became old really fast.

Leave the robot arm in Halo: Reach.

I didn’t use it, but I think it would cool to see again.

Would be nice to see it again.

I saw all that big armour and emile helmet crap WITHOUT the robot arm too…

Perfectly said!
Robot arms are supper cool, until everyone has them.

Then if they should return, they should be unlockable only through a difficult challenge like LASO.

I would be cool with that but, and correct me if I’m wrong, hasn’t every hard to obtain piece of armor eventually been made available to all? I think Reach may be the exception.

Why have a robot arm when you can flash clone pretty much anything ???

I just want to point out that putting on the robot arm in reach didn’t make you a big emile headed spartan, that was obviously the armour componants. Think about what your Spartan IV is wearing and add a robot arm… You don’t need to add one its just an option.

Add in that black visor…-shudders-
Seriously though, I am fine with the robot arm, but seeing the same armor set was too repetitive.
(But really…black visor + helmet with big visor (e.g. EVA)…bad idea)

i’m definitely not with you on this one.

after some time in H3 almost everyone and their grandmother had the hayabusa-armor,
though up to this day there are always several people in any armor-related thread wishing it back.

so yeah, i’d like the robotic arm to retun, now more than ever, since armor customization is down to sets only,
i’d like to see some kind of “robotic-arm”-versions of already existing armor-sets.

Personally, I hated it. It looked ridiculous. I mean, is it really so hard to get some armor to cover that arm? I also would have thought that they would have gone to some length to make the arm look somewhat human, and not just a metal stick with exposed wires.

I would like for it to stay gone IMO.

I don’t see why not.

If they add legs, you could literally say LASO cost you an arm and a leg…
I’d want it just for that pun.

Actually already been addressed, and not viable as a customisation option without a retcon. Hunters in the Dark featured a S-IV, Frank Kodiak, who lost his arm in the Human-Covenant war. After becoming a Spartan, his suit covered it so perfectly that nobody could tell which arm was artificial.

I said no, but I’m not exactly opposed to it. But I’d prefer it if Halo stayed away the star wars tropes from now on. We have enough.

Eh, I don’t really care either way to be honest.

No hated these things
