Roaming Warzone AI?

I feel like Warzone would be more fun and unpredictable if instead of only having the bosses, also having random AI roaming around. For example an elite followed by a couple grunts that would just walk around the map attacking players, going into bases, etc. What do you think?

Yes this would be fun maybe trying the enter again to the main base just like when the game starts… a little more randomness could make warzone more interesting

I think this is a great idea.

I think the AI is woefully under-utilised in Warzone. It really doesn’t feel like a PvEvP, so much as a PvP mode with the occasional addition of Enemy AIs. This is felt worst on Apex 7, which has so much unused space. Roaming enemies would be a nice way to make things more interesting.

Maybe have squads of marines move from bases. So let’s say you start at the armory. When you capture the closest base, a squad slowly migrates over there.

I actually would like to see that. Actually would give me the feeling of fighting against players and AI since to me, they play pretty well on warzone. I do hope there can be roaming AI’s. Good thinking.

A few times on Raid on Apex 7 the elites that accompany the Zealot Assassin will walk around if the boss is killed. It happened a few times to me. I was on the Spire and a elite with a sword came up. Free sword!

So much underutilize potential on this game. Imagine marines carrying out an amphibious assault on the armories on Apex. Even better a -Yoink- load of Coves jumping out of their ships and assaulting the spire to attempt to take it over. Complete chaos!

This is my most-wanted feature for Warzone. I’ve only been playing since Christmas, but I already have the boss spawns pretty well memorized now.

Would be awesome. We can only hope 343 do something we actually want in the game.

It would be funny to see Promethean Soldiers hijack warthogs, like they do in the campaign, and drive around the map causing trouble.

I like this idea, although I think it would be hard to execute. On the one hand, you don’t want to be winning a PvP battle and get hit out of nowhere by AI. On the other hand, you don’t want a ton of enemies in a separate area that will encourage farming. It would take some thinking about how to find the right formula for getting more AI in the field.

One thought is to have AI raids on bases. For instance, where a team controls two field bases for X time, a drop ship comes in and attacks the rear base and players have to fend them off. If you don’t lose the base you get X points. It would create a disruption without feeling cheap in the sense that you wouldn’t be getting blindsided in the middle of a gun fight, couldn’t farm it, and could have a strategy in place for it.

I have been thinking about this as well. My idea would involve a higher score needed to win, and considerably more AI throughout the game. They could stick with the 3 legendary bosses, but elite’s with ghosts, various prometheans, etc could spawn RANDOMLY throughout the map, possibly without a notification, and just roam around wreaking havoc. I think it would add some dimension to the games, personally, and the random nature would make farming not possible.

And have it to where the AI can take bases like the beginning of the match.
