Can anyone explain exactly how to get this commendation?
I was playing warzone with friends, I killed at least 15 spartans using the warthhog’s turrent while a friend was driving it, and we just got about 5 Road Kill’s… and I’m not even sure if those counted from my killings.
So, is there any specific instructions beside “Kill an enemy Spartan with a ground vehicle” to actually get Road Kill Commendation ?
I am progressing fast with that particular commendation, its pretty simple, get a ghost and do what you would normally, then if you see someone you can, run them over. that’s what I do, also play btb because I find its a lot easier in that than warzone where they’ll pull out a power weapon and destroy you.
Ground Vehicle Kills = Only kills dealt by the driver.Wraith - splatter or cannon. Not turret
Scorpion - splatter or cannon. Not turret
Ghost - splatter or gun
Warthog (all) - splatter only
Mantis - Anything
Gungooses - Splatter or gunner. Not passenger
Scouthog - Splatter. Not passenger.
Mongoose - good luck!
Phaeton - None
Banshee - None
To get a “road trip” , the vehicle must be at full capacity and carry more than one person. So eligible vehicles include all hogs and all geese. I don’t think scorpions or wraiths count towards “road trips”. Mantis’s and Ghosts can’t carry more than one occupant so are ineligible as are Phaetons , wasps , and banshees (obviously).
This was the requirement when i was playing Halo 4 and for the short time I was playing Halo 5. If it has been changed in the past months , I apologize for the misinformation.
