Ever heard of Road to Commander? If not it’s a somewhat popular Youtube series where someone records every game of that prestige (yes, talking about CoD) and uploads the videos to Youtube, but this is ROAD TO BRIGADIER on Halo Reach and I will be updating my progress daily/weekly, so you’ll have to come back to keep checking up on me.
I am currently a Major Grade 2 and I’m working my way towards Major Grade 3, I’m a couple of thousand away from ranking up… this means I need just over ONE MILLION points until the rank of Brigadier.
To do this I will try to complete as many daily and weekly challenges as possible, this is where you come in. As most of you know, some of the weekly challenges are pretty challenging and you can be a part of this challenge. You will simply need to add me on Xbox Live/invite me to your lobbies, don’t forget to send a message saying that you want to help out.
As you gain more experience when you win games, I will be looking for decent players. Players who know what they’re doing and will win the majority of the games… this doesn’t always count though, if you’re a fun guy to play with then you’ll still be invited to games, its the same the other way around. If you’re really good but you’re a complete knob then I will not enjoy playing with you, which will end up with you getting booted.
Don’t forget, we won’t always be going for the win/in try hard mode. Sometimes we’ll just sit back, relax and play some custom games!

In today’s playing time I challenged myself to complete the weekly challenge which was called Not Lough, High (for 30,000 exp). In this you had to get 250,000 point in one campaign mission. I followed Nak3dHalo’s walkthrough and completed it on my second go in about 30 minutes… in my first attempt I skipped a vital (not knowing it was vital) step in the tutorial and ended up playing the full campaign mission which took about 2 and half hours… fml. I ranked up from a Major Grade 2 to a Major Grade 3. I now need 15,000 until my next rank.
Edit Two - 01/04/2012 (April Fools)
Today I completed all the daily challenges, from doing this I was ranked up to Lt. Colonel(Gained an Achievement for buying a piece of armour which required that rank) . I am about halfway through the level, this means I will probably rank up to the next level tomorrow… or tonight, If I continue playing. I need about 5,000 until I rank up.
Edit Two -Part Two - 01/04/2012 (April Fools)
Just played a couple of games and ranked up, I’m now at the very start of LT. Colonel Grade 1. I’m ranking up pretty fast so far, seems to be at least one rank a day… this will probably change.

Todays daily challenges were pretty damn easy and I completed three of them in about an hour, that gave me a quick 9200 credits and ranked me up to Lt. Colonel Grade 2. For the majority of the day I have gone for multikills, for the weekly challenge and I am currently 58/200 (This will improve throughout the night), I am aiming to have 75/200 completed today. The weekly challenge is for 25,000 credits and be a generous amount of credits for my goal.
I have continued playing and have ranked up to Lt. Colonel Grade 3.
Edit Four - 04/04/2012
It took a little longer but I’ve ranked up to a Commander! Completed all the daily challenges, they were pretty easy. I need about 50k to rank up to the next rank, so 150k until I’m a new rank… probably take about a week, maybe. I’ve also got the weekly challenge up to 160ish, so should complete it pretty soon.
