Spartan Company: UHC Military
Hello! I am Big Al 1300, President of the United Halo Command. The UHC is only 11 members away from reaching our goal of 50 members. The UHC is a militarized clan that has many things to offer our members. We have high quality players that share their tips and tricks on how to improve your game. Our leadership is second-to-none; each member of the High Council has a minimum of fifteen months of leadership experience. Here in the UHC, we take competition seriously. As a result, we have formed a competitive team that all of our members are encouraged to tryout for, even if you don’t think you’ll make the cut. We provide an immersive atmosphere that provides an in-depth Halo experience. Best of all, you will have fellow members online to team up with all day, every day.
I have a question for you: What are your plans for the summer? Allow me to tell you ours. We will host 1v1, 2v2, and 4v4 tournaments, participate in clan battles, competitive matches, raids, and wars. That’s right. We have a huge slate of activities you don’t want to miss out on. We’ll be doing all of this with some of our allies from the Sector Nine Federation alliance coalition. By being in this coalition, that only provides more activities for you to participate in such as game nights, more tournaments, and more clan battles. This summer, you have the opportunity to not only improve your Halo skill, but you’ll be able to make friends and beat the crap out of some randoms at the same time.
Since we are a militarized clan, we follow a military structure. This means we have branches and a ranking structure. You’ll find that our three branches are complex, but not to the point that they are confusing. Let me explain.
Army: The Army is designed to be the largest branch of the UHC. At maximum capacity it will have 122 members. Obviously we aren’t that large. At least not yet. Army is led by a leader and a co-leader. Under their command are the three division leaders. Within each division are three platoons. Each platoon has three squads. Each squad has four members. So if you do the math, that equates to 27 four-men (or women) squads within 9 platoons spread across three divisions for a grand total of 122 members once you include the leader and co-leader. OK, so what? This means the Army receives the most action out of any branch in the UHC. If we go to war, guess what? You’ll definitely participate. If we have a clan battle, guess what? Army gets first choice. Every new recruit enters the Army, so this will be the branch you start out in.
Orbital Drop Shock Troopers: The O.D.S.T. is where the special players are. The absolute best the clan has to offer gets to join the O.D.S.T., but not before a rigorous process of 1v1’s 2v1’s and even 3v1’s. Does that sound hard? Yes? Good! It’s supposed to be hard, but it’s not impossible. This branch is led by LoneRangerSix. He has been an O.D.S.T. for over two years. He has a high standard of excellence and only the most skilled members have the opportunity to join. Not that good at Halo? Not a problem! Like I mentioned earlier, if you aren’t that good we have members who would like nothing more than to show you how to get better.
Intergovernmental Intelligence Agency: The I.I.A. is the smallest branch of the UHC. With only 12 members, the elite are chosen for this branch. Their tasks are classified, as are the requirements. If you have what it takes, you’ll find yourself in a meeting with the High Council, as they are the only ones who can recommend members for I.I.A.
Halo 4 Division: Still playing on the Xbox 360? Good news! We have a Halo 4 division just for you! Led by Bad 2 teh bon3, you will find some of our most loyal members here. Halo 4 is where the UHC originated, and we have some of our best members from the very beginning still there and training fresh recruits on our classic UHC maps. Like to forge on Halo 4? Then you’re going to love it here. Your division leader builds entire star ships in two hours or less by himself. He truly is a forge master, meaning you will play on the most detailed Halo 4 maps in the community. Contact Bad 2 teh bon3 to join this division.
Wait, what is the High Council? The High Council is the governing body of the UHC. The only members allowed in this group are the President, Vice President, Secretary of State, and Secretary of Defense. The High Council’s job is to ensure clan policies are fair and necessary. They also meet with foreign clans to establish alliances or discuss rules of engagement for impending wars.
Our ranking structure follows the basic U.S. Army ranking structure. That’s a lot of ranks, which means you will always have an objective to impress the High Council or your branch leader for that ever-rewarding promotion. There is no specific way to get promoted either, but recruiting and simply attending scheduled clan activities is a good way to get the High Council’s attention.
As mentioned earlier, we are an active clan that has members online all day. We have scheduled clan activities five nights per week, giving you two “off-days” to play whatever you want with whomever you want. The UHC plays on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9:00 pm Eastern Time until dismissal, which is usually around 11:00 pm Eastern Time; however, we usually have members that stay up long past that time just to play more Halo.
If you’ve made it this far into the post, I have good news for you: it’s almost over. If this sounds like something you would like to do or you want more information, please reply to this post or send me a message on Xbox LIVE. Our website (posted way back at the beginning) also has more information if you’d like to know more. Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you soon.
Very Respectfully,
Big Al 1300
