I got the first chapter for this comic, it is pretty short. Rise of Atriox 1#
I was expecting to have more lore from this, still you get some nice action. You get first hand battle against a relentless brute army that is attacking one UNSC resources base. They are coming wave after wave. Commander in the base and around less than 40 soldiers go down one by one. It is really nice the ending, you get Atriox (who I supposed is Atriox) killing the very last survivor.I got it for Kindle and I can read it on my Surface. Really nice, I recommend everyone to get it on digital to safe some trees.
I think this issue did what it needed to as the first issue. there wasn’t a ton of dialogue but you do get to see the situation that shaped Atriox’s mindset.

Remember that it’s a whole series of comics. It basically tells a typical suicide mission that the Covenant sent Atriox and his clan in that has the super high attrition rate and him as the sole survivor. He’s been a survivor of multiple of these missions and the issue shows just another example.
You’ll be getting more lore as the comics go on. Just be patient
