My vote for worst overall Halo map. Im including every past halo game in this. Really wish this map didn’t come up as often as it does as it immediately sours my time playing halo. Its an incredibly terrible map. Just venting.

I think its the best H5 map out there.

Yep, easily in my top 3 along with Eden and Plaza. Probably my #1 honestly.
I really enjoy this map as well. Especially love that they put a Halo 2 BR on it.
My only complaint would be the FFA spawns on it. I was spawn killed 3 times in a row at one point in game.

Really? Of all the maps in the halo franchise this is your worst pick. Either troll post or you are in for a world of hate my friend.
Definitely not the worst, but not my personal fav but thats because im not very good for it, in ways of balancing, for SWAT anyway, it is a VERY good map, there are so many different sight lines its hard to stay alive for a very long time because you look one way and youll killed from another, thats what a good map is, lots of flanking routes and on that map you can get flanked from loads of different areas…

Then you didn’t play the previous Halo games that closely. It’s not even close to the “worst” map. I’d love to hear a justification for for why it’s so “terrible”.

I love Regret and it’s twin I think Truth. I also love Riptide. Now Rig, I despise that map.
Personally none of Halo 5 maps are all that great. I can put up with the original of most maps, but pretty much all of the remixes are awful.
It’s my favorite Arena map so far. It’s definitely not the worst map in the series.
I’m sure this is an unpopular opinion but in general going back to Halo 3 I do not enjoy the multiplayer at all (big team is horrendous in H3) and I hate Standoff the most. I do enjoy Deadlock however, maybe because of Halo 5’s mechanics?

I am a little dissapointed they said they are done with remixes because I thought those were really interesting because of the twists they put on different maps and the unique art directives. If they just had their geometry changed around instead, I would not be too happy.
This isnt a troll post… The confusing layout, the amount of power weapons and the lack of map movement makes this an extremely poor map. This is my opinion and you have yours… but yes this is my vote for worst all time halo map. This map is worse then snowbound from H3. The selection of maps in halo 5 in all honesty have not had many standouts compared to previous halos (for all of the sensitive people that take that statement as a personal slight against you… Im not saying all the maps suck). But this map is a low point. Hopefully 343 knocks it out of the park with a worthy map with the February update.

I vote that is mediocre. Same with most of the maps in H5. Remixes are stupid when half of the maps they remix are crappy maps.

It is pretty bad.
The water gives away your position if you walk in it. Most of the combat happens in the open area to the right of center of map. Everything else is just tight corridor combat in my experience. Sucks tbh, already have enough tight corridor combat thanks to overgrowth.
Tbh none of H5’s maps really stand out IMO.
Honestly I think most, if not all of the halo 5 maps are are some of the best halo maps I’ve ever played. Riptide is fantastic, the only map that I don’t really like is overgrowth and maybe fathom. However they are both better than the worst halo 2 and 3 maps. I simply don’t understand how people think h5 maps are bad

Because they are so small and make you feel like you are in a box. They are claustrophobic.

Sums it up pretty perfectly. Not to mention the insane amount of clutter and crap all over the map(s), Constantly getting stuck on the enviroment. I dont dislike all the H5 maps. But they need to go back and look at what made H2 and H3 so good… The maps. Beaver Creek, ascension, Midship, Ivory Tower, High Ground, Construct, Narrows, Epitaph. Those maps are classic.
Decent map, sometimes I hate the spawns. Otherwise very nice!
