I understand what you mean, its the kind of map you hate but you can’t explain why. I personally respect riptide since it is one of the few original maps we got from h5. The rest are just unispired rip offs or remakes.

the more i play it the more i like it but not for slayer
For me is good, there is Sweet Grunt and other Easter Egg and I know very well the map, it isn’t bad
Riptide is a great map for FFA. Best thing about riptide is it has the H2BR on it along with the beam rifle. The last thing this game needs to do is remove maps.

This man speaks the truth, I absolutely loathe those maps. I quite like riptide aswell
I’ve seen a lot of hate for riptide but I honestly enjoy the map especially for swat.
I like Riptide also, especially the color scheme and landscape effects. Still feel trapped sometimes but getting used to it

Actually, it plays great.

It has really good spawn points and heaps of options for flanking or locking down areas, SWAT is great on it along with Overgrowth
