as of now the only power weapon is the beam rifle and when its inside blue room they could camp looking through wind tunnel the whole game a plasma caster spawn where the hydra is should be able to do some real damage inside blue room. yes the blue room setup could be broken how it is now but only blue room is used the rest of the map doesnt even matter. or another suggestion open up blue room to make it easier to move into. also with the plasma caster teams will be forced to rotate for it.

we both know you are ganna say no again so how about say why this time
I’d say no too, simply because the plasma caster is trash. I’d take hydra over it any day, any map.
I’d get behind the caster idea. I can definitely agree with you on it. It’s a good room clearing weapon.
I agree with the Caster on Riptide. Never thought about it but it does make sense.
Hydra is pretty useless on that map anyway, its too closed up.
Caster is a great idea for this map, especially with the new update.
Another idea would be putting OS on the other side of the map. It would also help break the set up.
Not a bad idea at all… Caster belongs on maps with angular corners, not maps like Truth and Regret lol.

If you say the caster is trash then you need to learn how to use it . Point it at the floor and shoot kills in two shots, it’s a lot better since the buff

plasma caster is amazing i love using it in doubles i clean up with it … its tricky to get use to but when u do its really good … if you know where you enemy is or is going to be then with some good aim and timing you will be getting some good kills.
So everyone ok with removing the hiydra and replacing with PC?

yep sound good to me i think the plasma caster would suit the map better that what some people think … far better then a hydra

Yea the Hydra is soo weird on that map like the only area you can get kills with it is the middle near the h2 br
If the problem is green room (referred to as blue room by OP) why not just remove the wall that separates it from the sand pit?
I agree. More PC.

Actually the second no must’ve either been a technical error, or I forgot I already posted. (I thank the mods for being lenient with on that) as for why?
When the map originally came our there was a fuel rod cannon. It was removed. Prior to the removal of that weapon, holding blue room was still a solid strategy. Now, even with the fuel rod gone, it remains a good strategy. That however is not to say its impossible to flush out a team who is (camping is derogatory) using map control in the blue room. Also on another note. If there was a caster place perhaps where fuel rod used to be, a skilled team would have no problem taking BOTH weapons and reaming in blue room only making it harder to flush this team out. Heck when fuel rod was on the map, my team didn’t need to go get it, the enemy brought it to us. We killed the player with fuel rod, and continued to play defense.
So you see adding MORE power weapons to a map doesn’t fix anything. There are far too many variables to account for. I think that because of the map controlling going on in blue room, is the reason 343 took the fuel rod out in the first place. They left the harder to use, beam rifle to balance thing.
Imo, your idea of adding a caster to flush out teams who use map control, would do the exact opposite. In the end, changing a map, or the weapons on the map won’t change the outcome of the game.
