RIP MP

Bloom back again to let lesser skilled players have a chance smh

Yeah, the bloom aspect was annoying. Probably my most disliked aspect of what I saw.

I miss Halo 2 where skill mattered.

Sprint, bloom, the weapon design was awful, not MP reveal, no beta announcement, yeah, Infinite is pretty much DoA

There may be no bloom in competitive multiplayer? Just a thought.

Back when your BR was like a scalpel and precision shots separated the boys from men!

It’s a nice thought. Doesnt make sense. But I would love to be wrong and you right.

Bloom always existed for automatic weapons. It just wasn’t on the reticle. For the BR, there was still bullet drift.

Yeah and that means new players get beat into the ground and the player population drops off quickly because they don’t stand a chance. Games need to encourage new players, not deter them.

And that is catering to newbs… Practice and get better. Or go play in a social list. You have to practice and get better like in everything else. Also the graple just doesn’t make sense.

“Newbs” bring life to a game. A game without new players dies. Do you want Halo to have just the same, ever-shrinking group of people? People move on, people have lives, they get jobs, they die, they quit playing video games, whatever the case. Games have to encourage new players to join. It’s required. Halo with the same 5k people for decades is just a sad thought. If new players jump ship because they can’t succeed then Halo dies. Any multiplayer game dies when the population dies. Get over yourself. Your “pro skills” in Halo don’t mean dooky. The real world doesn’t care. You can’t get a high status job with Halo skills. You can’t be President or Senator with Halo skills. Your skills are irrelevant to 99.999% of the entirety of anything remotely important in the world.

No way I didn’t even notice. I hope to god they keep it out of multiplayer

Then let them go, if they can’t compete they should just go back to COD with Skill Based Matchmaking.

Haven’t read through all comments because I’m lazy. But hitmarkers.

Thats a bit extreme, no? I’m sure we’ll get more info soon that explain their decisions. There was so much stuff in that short demo that they most likely expected confusion/anger from some fans, so I’d wait a bit before writing of the game entirely.

Lmfaooooo I’m dyinggggg, wait until we see the MP at least lol

well yeah, but it will happen like MCC’s population if the multiplayer is as pathetic as the reveal today was, a lot of numbers at the beginning but then will start to go down to oblivion

looks like bloom is exactly how it is in halo 5. It doesn’t bloom outside of the reticle and resets super quick. what’s the problem?
