I found out today that Monty Oum, creator of RWBY and main animator of the Red vs Blue series by Rooster Teeth, had passed away yesterday. He will be missed.

i have been a fan of Monty Oum’s work for years since the first time i saw haliod when i was in high school. He had a magic in his work. Made some of the best action scenes in animations that is unrivaled. his work with red vs blue and RWBY showed that that rooster teeth though silly in nature could be awesome visually and have an amazing story.
I meet Monty Oum last year at PAX East. He was funny, kind and loved being around his fans who knew of him before he worked with rooster teeth. He talked about how wonderful we are to support his work and never thought he be where he was. The world lost a great person and its sad to see him gone my prayers are for his family, loved ones and fans of his work.
