Riochet is one of the best game modes ever invented. I would say it’s probably the best creation 343 have come up with. The idea of playing American football and having team work, shielding the ball, throwing the ball, deciding on your abilities to assist you.
Why are we not playing Riochet more? It deserves to have one of the highest populations?
We need to remove armor abilities from Ricochet, or at least restrict to Thruster Packs.
Assuming they fix Thruster’s airtime, which is downright horrible.
Have you ever played Assault from a past Halo? Try that out and see what ricochet feels like.
ricochet is a really good playlist. my team rarely loses. I was upto a 39 csr and then that went down after 3 wins to a 12 csr because of the race gametype messing up the ricochet csrs.
after that I couldnt be bothered…

I never liked the concept of the gamemode for some odd reason, and pretty much all of the games ive played it, i’ve lost, since i have been on a team that didnt have any idea how to play it, and they just went for the kills and ignored the ball. Or if they had the ball, they didnt try to score.
Ricochet has been public for four months, dude. It was one of the most populated playlists for a while.
I think it’s not as popular anymore because it requires more awareness, teamwork, and thought than any other gametypes (except perhaps Grifball–I don’t play Grifball, so I wouldn’t know).
There are people playing. In fact, there’s actually a official Ricochet league! checkout www.ricochethub.com Its actually a spin off of www.grifballhub.com (yes that’s a grifball league, too.) I am currently in a GGL grifball team in the play offs. but if it doesn’t interfere I might be starting a team for the RHL (Riochet hub league) You should look into finding a team or maybe starting your own!
i loved the idea of ricochet, but the addition of quickochet and shotgunricochet ruined it for me… everytime i wanna play a normal ricochet match everyone votes most of the time for shotgun ricochet i dont like that
I love Shotguns in this game type. It requires a high level of skill to go a killing spree and it stops players camping. It’s also more fast pace and random. Matches also tend to finish quicker.
