Rift Ball is my shib!

I could preface this in so many ways but in short… I LOVE RIFT BALL!! I know it’s “not halo” in the traditional sense but I think it has a great way of breaking up the monotony. Or even better. A great spot to go to “get back to neutral”. If I’m just having an off day and I’m getting destroyed in every Warzone/Arena game I play I will typically take a break from it and visit Action Sack while I can. Something about running in and just swinging my hammer like Thor makes me happy. Not to mention tossing a Hail Mary all the way down court (field?) and scoring feels like a real accomplishment. It feels like it could damn near be a standalone sports game! Showing my age a bit here but it reminds me a little bit of Tron.

I thought about making a poll of what everyone thinks about this Game Mode but I’ll just ask for your opinion in the form of a comment.

I like griff ball but I don’t absolutely love it. I do think it is a nice change from griff ball.

It’s def. Fun. I try to like grift ball but there are to many lone wolf hero’s in it. People could win more games if they would love to pass the ball!

The design is great the the vivid colors are WAY too disorienting. I can hardly tell what’s going on at any time.

I like it except when I get a crappy server. Some games I’m destroying and others I feel like people can hammer me from ten feet away and get a kill while I do the same and don’t get anything.

I agree with all of the things ya’ll have mentioned. If I have to choose between Griff and Rift I’ll always go Rift. The colors can be dizzying at times but I fight passed it. lol A lot of the time there is so much going on that I have no clue where to go but once I figure it out… GAME ON!!

I kinda hate Rift Ball. The physics are disorienting and the Plasma Grenades feel unnecessary.

I’ve always liked the idea of griff ball but hated the simplisity hoping people would make more complicated version of it.

But ive never got it in rotation and I don’t plan on going back to action sack cause there is too much I don’t want to play.

Rift Ball is the best gametype/map in Action Sack. Once Action Sack is rotated out, I hope Rift Ball will get incorporated into the Grifball playlist, anyone else agree with me? It never gets old to earn the EXTERMINATION medal during Rift Ball =)

I really can’t get enough of it. I don’t care much for the other Action Sack games. They aren’t bad. I’d just rather play Rift Ball. Yeah, the colors are crazy but I deal with it. If that is the biggest complaint I have about the game then it’s a winner in my book. I like that the grenades are incorporated. It makes it more of a challenge. Plus it feels pretty nice lobbing one down to the other end and watching everyone get smeared. lol I can appreciate Griff Ball. It’s definitely fun but with all the mayhem Rift has to offer I’ll always choose it instead. I’d love to see it get incorporated.

True, it’s definitely nice to earn a CLUSTERLUCK + Double Hail Mary! in Rift Ball, the plasma grenades really make you think about your movement.

Definitely a fun gametype. Had a blast playing it with a buddy of mine.

There are a lot of games in Action Sack I don’t care for. Number one on my list is Tank World. I just can’t get into it. Too cumbersome I think. No action. Just sack. Sumo Goose comes in at a close second of my least favorite and then maybe Mantis.

I was afraid I wouldn’t like Paintball but it’s actually kind of fun. Fast paced and short. Ground and Pound is great but I place a lot of stock in the name sake. If it’s called ground and pound that’s all I want to see. lol Too many folks out to shoot a fella. I just want to punch the crap out of everyone which is why I lose EVERY SINGLE TIME. lol

Husky Raid is awesome too. It comes in second for my favorite. Just non stop carnage. Challenging as hell and if your up by one you may as well call it a victory.

I got my first Exterm with a Triple Plasma Nade Kill and a Sword Lunge for the Forth Guy in there too… One of my best Halo 5: Guardians Moments…! :smiley:

My Second and last One in “Husky Raid”… Unfortunaly all Action Sack Modes, but I don’t care…! ^^

Ouh yeah… Everytime I hope for “Minotaurs” and I’m just getting “Mongoose Sumo”… That’s my least Favorite Mode there… >.>

Tank World and Mongoose Sumo are basically tied for my least favorite. Tank World is just too slow for me. At least Sumo can be mildly entertaining at times. I like Minotaurs. Of the two I like infection more though.
