343i, could you be less annoying with these banhammers and inactivity bootings? I was gone from the game for literally a minute to change batteries, and I got booted. I bet that will also count as a ‘quitting game early’ scenario, so I guess I’m 1 step closer to a banhammer strike too.

Seriously, I like your games 343i. Bungie was better, but your installments are still very much enjoyable. What isn’t enjoyable is how you handle your servers and striking options. It makes makes me feel like you just don’t care. To add insult to injury, you also always give such smug messages with the boots/strikes. “Wake up, John…” like, seriously? If you want to have a broken system in your games is one thing, but to laugh in our faces when we get booted unfairly is just ridiculous.

I know 343i will probably never read this, let alone acknowledge it, but I wanted to have said it, as I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s been mistreated by their sensetive little banhammer.

“Bunige was better…” Ha, way to endear yourself to the powers-that-be. Trying to backpedal with the “but you don’t completely suck” part was even funnier.

That said, you’re 100% right. The afk boot is a farce. Then again, I’m to the point where if I don’t end a match with a DNF then I feel like I’m somehow sending 343 the message that everything is fine with this game. And everything is not fine with this game. Far from it. So, 343, boot me all you want. Ban me all you want. Go out of your way to punish the people who bought your game and would like to play it, by all means. Very constructive.

It takes three minutes for an idle boot. Three minutes is a substantial amount of time for a match.
