Ridgeline/Timberland

After seeing the AH: Ridgeline video I was just wondering what everyones thoughts were. I personally think the map looks amazing.

It’s amazing. Since many did not purchase the PC edition compared to console version, Ridgeline/Timberlands looks to be a real treat for the fans.

I was very happy with the way it played. I hadn’t played it originally, but I like the way it feels a LOT!

It looks like it will be an awesome Big Team Battle map. It also seems like I’ll have a good time forging on it too.

I never did play the original, but I look forword to playing it anyways.

I played the original a couple of times. I think they picked the wrong PC map personally. Danger Canyon was epic, that’s what I would have went with.

Never played the original map, so i’m really excited about this map!

Same here my friend, same here

It’s in Reach, not buying.

Anyone else notice the major structure coming from outside the map and over the center of it? Looks an aweful lot like the structure High Noon is bult around…

interesting. very interesting…

I am a leaf in the wind…

Snipers and heavy BTB are going to be a blast.

I’m a little dissapointed that they shrunk the map. I played the original and it was my favorite.

I doubt they would hide it for this long if these maps were somehow connected, but you can’t deny the structures look oddly similar…

Maybe they wanted both maps to look like they’re in a similar Forerunner city, or maybe the same city.

It is possible. Like sandtrap and sandbox

The map should have been the same size; way to make it feel cramped.

I doubt people will notice. I just have one piece of advice for the fanbase. Watch out for the waterfall!

I never had the chance to play on Timberland, though I own a copy of Halo PC. And I’m pretty excited to play Ridgeline, it really looks “Halo” to me, visually it’s one of the best map I’ve seen so far. The forerunner structures look incredibly impressive. When I see what Reach engine is able to do, I am very confident about Halo 4’s campaign.
