While searching for nice pictures and info on the newly announced Champion Bundle,I came across a source claiming that the new Ricochet armor set was exclusive to the gametype of the same name, implying that your armor would be automatically set to it when you played Ricochet, and that would be the only time you could wear it.
That’s not true, is it? Would be somewhat of a bummer.

Yeah, I thought it was likely just a misunderstanding, but felt like it couldn’t hurt to ask.
At the very least it is exclusive, and the complainers will have one less thing to cry over because we knew it was in advance.
As far as I’m aware, they can’t restrict an armor permutation to a gametype.

That’s a relief… Because I myself think that the Ricochet armor looks awesome! I’d also hate to only be allowed to wear it in one gametype.
It isn’t. In the trailer you can clearly see Spartans wearing other armours in the same clips as Spartans wearing Ricochet.
I don’t think it is possible to restrict armor to one gametype, that would be silly anyways.
