It seems major damage control is taking place, after last nights post they decided to lock up the /r halo board till monday due to “toxicity” as if that hasn’t been the subreddit for the last 10 hears.
While i agree no one should get death threats i think locking an entire 100,000 strong subreddit because of maybe 10-15 people is a little absurd and points more towards damage control since every thread on there last night with over 15k upvotes was trashing the community post (rightfully so)
How long before the damage control begins on here?
If discussion is going to be stamped out because of a few idiots then what can really be discussed?
The subreddit shut down was completely up to the mods. I suggest you take it up with them if you want to know why.
As for here the only things that will be moderated are posts that violate forums rules.
Edit: Also to be clear discussing moderator decisions is a violation of forum rules, that will be moderated as well.
Im well aware of that last part, ive spent my fair share of time in waypoint jail
It’s not damage control unless they’re deleting posts. This is just a time out for people take a breather.
Edit: I saw a mod on there say they literally couldn’t keep up with reports so it was one reason why it was closed.
Are we sure it’s not because of the spoilers someone may be spamming? I don’t use Reddit, just a thought.
This is neither reddit, nor a place to discuss reddit
