ABOUT US
Rated for Mature had it’s start back in 2008 since then, its been a growing group of avid players that are competitive, relaxed, fun and professional towards others.
I am the Administrator and sole Founder of RFM, which came from the needs and wants of my former peers for an older community group for ESRB’s “M” Rated games. Rated for Mature aka RFM also was something I had been managing even well before I decided to finally create it. To which I have always had my friends semi-tasked to do things in team oriented games to a point and usually only if they wished to, or else I would do the task required. I always wanted to give other players a space to interact socially, have fun and to even learn about gaming and entertainment if they wanted to. RFM is a place for older gamers to discover and enjoy gaming w/others no matter the platform your on.
I made my introduction post around May of 2012, to which I promised to post a recruitment request and form. For those of you interested, RFM is a club made for fun and relaxation. We’re not highly aggressive or overly interested in making you change anything about yourself. This is a professional group of old school players that are easy going and play for teamwork when a game calls for it. We don’t engage in unlawful activity or encourage cheating. Fun, Tournaments, LAN, Parties, Rewards & Vintage Gaming!
-Made for Ages 17 & Up.
-We’re not discriminative toward either gender or gender specific.
-We play on all Core Gaming Systems, Consoles, Handhelds, & on PC.
-We offer Machinama classes and more!
-We also enjoy Pen & Paper games like D&D too. (*Skype or Kinect is Required)
-We hold tournament giveaways & prizes for participating.
-We offer peace of mind & security to all of our members.
-We don’t ask you to change anything about your gamer-tag or pay anything.
-We also have our own Forum. So that you can meet and interact with other members easier.
-Right now we have openings in RFM. 50 for each PC, PS3, and 360. Totaling 150 members.
-We are not game specific, we are in all games everywhere and always expanding! :]
-We are a great way to help re/discover and expand your library.
-We DON’T use MLG, Gamebattles, or the like. Because we are Expert Gamers that play to enjoy the fun of gaming.
-We are not Family friendly, instead we are accessible but not friendly with families. This is a group for the 17+ older crowd. We do have Parents that game though, play if you want, but keep the little kids in line till they are ready.
Joining Up:
How does one join RFM? Well first after filling out the form below and pre-qaulifin’. Then you must subject to a Seven Day Trail and fully commit to it if you intend on joining up, Cadet! Then and only then can you graduate to become a full member at RFM. Once your a full member with us. You can reap the benefits earlier on if you sign up now. If you please will, do sign up below here in the thread using the Cadet Recruitment Form (CRF) template after reading the Pre-qualificaitons below here.
Your Pre-qualificaitons:
TAGS:
-You have a unique valid tag, one without repeating letters like XXX,OOO,lll ect. or elitism such as L1k3 Y4 KN0W <-that. Avoid this with us please. Tags Like “Jack the Ripper” are cooler to us than “J4CK d4 R1pp3r”. You also should not have more than 3 numbers after not before your tag. RFM is about finding those original tags, such as “DJ Sunny” or “DJ Fox 343” for example. We also accept tags with your birth year like this Example: “DJ Apollo 1983”. Were sorry if this offends you and don’t mean any harm by this, its just how RFM always has been.
HEALTH:
-You will be relatively healthy, not really too overweight and such. We want people that can travel and make it to the LANs we hold occasionally, please understand that it is nothing personal or otherwise.
AGE:
-You are of age! 17 and older … obviously. If your younger than 17 I will not submit you. All ages starting at 17 and older are welcome, don’t let the young folk discourage you. Gaming is still Gaming, no matter your age.
SOCIABLE:
-Own a mic. Speak decent and clear English, be sociable, and polite. Even if it is the official Microsoft 20$ wired brand. You’re good to go, as long as your mic works.
ACTIVELY ONLINE:
- You will be active online! We love to play games with others and are Core Gamers that enjoy a variety of games and game series including Halo! We are on Steam, GFWL, EAO, PSN+, & LiVE (ect.) on a daily basis in fact. Fridays, Thursdays, and Saturdays are our most popular days though.
FULL COMMITMENT:
-You must willing to be 100% committed to RFM and not be apart of any other clans. You yourself once joined to RFM, must understand there is zero tolerance policy for desertion, which earns a permanent ban from RFM if you do desert us for any reason. Should you wish to leave at any time, I must be notified before you wish to leave in advance and told why with a good valid reason.
ABOUT REWARDS:
-You will lastly know, that all Cadets do not get to earn their rewards until 6 months after having joined RFM. However time fly’s when you are having fun with us and the wait is worth it. Whenever you play any of our tournaments and should win those earnings are paid off 6 months after you joined us initially. As you stay with RFM rewards will increase over time. Although this should not be the main reason you join us.
Please know that our Rewards do include stuff like Microsoft Points/PSN cards/Wii points, Controllers, and Games. Grand Prizes are things like Limited Edition Consoles and limited/collector edition games held only in LANS.

Heylo! I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday today. Just keeping tabs, making sure everything is tidy and I wanted to let you all know that we still have memberships available. Let me know if you want in and please DO post your CRF here. A CRF is a resume of sorts that lets me know what kind of person you are while gaming, so do post yours here before trying to join or you will not be signed on with us at RFM. If you have any questions I will respond soon within 24hrs, I’m in the middle of moving stuff and remodeling. So I will make time just for you!
