Personally I don’t like Halo 4. The matchmaking sucks and the campaign was horrible. I’ve seen alot of complaints here. Anyway I just wanted to ask the community how you would rewrite the storyline for the campaign if you could.
I would leave it the way it is.
Tectonic plates, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and an epic Death Star trench run? I’ll take it. The music, while weak in a few missions, was mostly excellent. I thought the campaign is one of 4’s strong points. I’m glad they killed Cortana, and I hope she never comes back. Good writers know that life isn’t fair. Great character with a proper ending. I will be disappointed if she comes back.
I know I’m in the minority, but I count a lack of Flood as a negative for any Halo game
why?(shocked face)

Try to hum any Halo 4 song… Music was good but not anything like Marty’s. His music stuck.

To Galaxy, Revival and 117 all outstanding tracks.
I like the mo cap. Other than that nothing really stood out. Same Halo formula. While they certainly didn’t ruin the franchise They didn’t do anything groundbreaking as far as campaign. And other than the mouths the graphics aren’t leaps and bounds above Halo Reach’s. I don’t see why they had to make every explosion like a fire cracker(in comparison to Halo 3 and Reach.
No level was any bigger or grander than any other Halo game after Halo 2(mammoth level but not enough troops to make it awesome.)Halo 2 city level with the scarab is still bigger than anything Halo 4 threw in and the Odst zoo level.
Sorry for bad grammar.Just waking
You named like the three only songs on that OST that sample Marty’s original work(maybe not Galaxy to much) I still think if you hummed it no one would know and if they yelled Halo in excitement they got it right they wouldn’t say Halo 4.
I hated the flood… It’s just zombies for Halo. Unlike a lot of people I truly love the Forerunners and Promethians (actually two different enemies for those who don’t realise).
I’m just hoping we find some more Forerunners in the next game bar the two we met in this one. Maybe a group of Forerunners stored away like the Didact… and maybe the Librarian in real form as opposed to a recording.
I loved the campaign. It was a bit short and easy for my taste, but I still wholeheartedly uphold the campaign as an awesome and original Halo experience, even with the Forerunners taking place as the new nemesis. I also really like how the story is starting to revolve around Master Chief as a person and not an invincible superhero. I actually liked the original Halo music better, but the music in the campaign was still outstanding. The one thing I would put into Halo 5 is some REALLY exciting scene or something purposefully meant to blow players away.
War Games needs a bit of tweaking, yes… but I still won’t stop playing it. It’s Halo and it’s fun.
81% said it was great from your poll, me included, i think halo 4 is amazing
343 obviously have issues, file share, multiplayer, but just be thankful for what they have made, the halo series could have just stopped, please stop picking it apart to suit how YOU would personally like it, and just play it, if you dont, play another game
Some people just dont like change huh?
That’s what keeps a game interesting.
Matchmaking doesn’t suck, they nerfed all the noob weapons, thats it.

117 should be well known, it is used many times during the campaign. Most notably in the Broadsword run, and during the Didact’s Speech after the credits.
Revival is one of the themes used to promote Halo 4.
Whether they sampled small parts of Marty’s soundtrack or not, they are still outstanding pieces.

But that’s the only reason there memorable is all. I thought the music was awesome but just not memorable maybe by Halo 6 the tracks will be etched into my brain but I own every Halo Ost released including Legends and This is my least favorite.
arrival is also a good track, makes the final battles toward the ending in mission 8 really epic.
i liked it.
The poll speaks for itsself i feel. Sorry you didnt enjoy it , but in making a new post next time, if your going to say this sux, and exspect people to comment , at lesat give your opionions about why you didnt enjoy halo 4 so we can have a nice debate about game mechanics.
As for halo 4 i enjoyed it, i didnt think it was the best halo but it for sure wasnt bad at all, and i enjoyed it alot. I dont think there were any levels i played that were really bad, and thats nice because in every halo game up to h4 i have a level i never reply again.
As for music, there was some good tracks in there, some close to martys work, but ofc the orginal score of music from halo 1-3 is just insaine good its hard to beat.
The only real thing im disapointed in for h4 campagin is i just felt it neeeded another big open level where you can go around in differnt ways with vevhicles ect. Halo ce had plenty of these, halo 3 had the ark and the covenant.Halo 4 has reclamer, and that about it.
The only scenes I remember:
-a bunch of Knights spawning on pillars
-Didact’s intro
-Del Rio shouting at Chief
-Composer affecting scientists
-Didact fight
No…

Try to hum any Bach fugue.
