Sidekick was a neat addition to the sandbox and I was okay with it for about 800 games or so. But as this game went on it just randomly wins or loses out of nowhere. There is no consistency to it at all. Spam and hope they die before you. Bloom and rapid fire combined with inconsistent AA levels gives us a weapon that feels completely undeserving when getting killed by it and infuriating when losing with it. I’m fighting the gun almost as much or more than my opponents. Same thing with the commando and br in some circumstances, but those are different topics. Considering the sidekick out TTKs all the main line weapons, I suggest we simply reduce its rate of fire by anywhere between 10 and 25%. But that just sounds like the Halo 5 Beta Magnum with extra steps! Yes, it is. Halo 5 magnum in the finished product was probably the second best thing 343 has ever created next to the OST for Halo Infinite. Honestly, they can get rid of the sidekick and just give us the H5 Magnum back and i think the game would be better for it. But thats not gonna happen. So please just reduce the RoF.
