Rewarding shooter's perspective

I remember, when the game’s networking was getting elaborated upon a little bit, a mention that the game will determine an outcome of shots fired from the shooter’s perspective.

This is playing a major part in shots connecting around corners.

The last week or so in particular; I’ve noticed I’m matching A LOT more people who speak Spanish for their first language (I’m NA). I’m also dying around corners frequently, being comically too far around the wall for the shots to hit. Additonally; playing m&kb and trying to track a laggy strafe is pretty much impossible. They slide around, don’t step or even wiggle. It’s like a teleport with a slippery step animation.

How can this be solved? I doubt they’ll change their philosophy on rewarding the shooter’s pov. Region select still welcomes players into matches outside their Regions if they so choose. Is there something involving networking that can reduce or solve this? Or make it more comparable to a good modern shooter? The old halo games almost never had this issue, I don’t understand why the worst quality of life is in Infinite.

It seems like I whenever I stop playing the game for weeks/months at a time and start up again, it’s not for long because these same issues persist regardless of my ping. I want to enjoy the competitive aspect of this game but these networking shenanigans and m&kb not being viable are just way too much to see past.

You need to die so someone with bad internet can have a good time and you should like it. Be proud that your death-while inherently not fair to you-made someone else feel better
