So I’m on Truth and Reconciliation, I’m at the bridge and Keys has just told me that he can fly a covenant dropship out of the cruiser.
However, a grunt has just died infront of me, right before the checkpoint!
There is 1 second between the checkpoint loading and Keys blowing up.
How long do I have to keep failing before the game reverts back to the previous checkpoint.
P.S. I have been doing the whole game on legendary and this is my last level to complete. It is 23:00 and I realy realy realy realy don’t want to have to restart the level again.

I honestly dont know what to say, I mean…you could just put on the Bandana skull if you have found it and just blast through most of everything again. Other than that, I dont know honestly
Halo 1 doesn’t have an extra-revert system. Its checkpoint systems are designed to detect danger and not give checkpoints when you’re about to die, and most of the time it works. However, dead grunts don’t register in the system as danger, because the original game wasn’t built to account for the fact that grunts explode. It gave you a checkpoint because it thought the dead grunt was harmless.

I have only once got spawn trapped in CE or CEA and that was because I was on a cliff edge and the check point popped right when I started to fall so I kept falling to my death before I figured out how to survive the fall
just restart if u have bandana i mean nade city well just nade! i know it sucks but remember plasma pistol takes down shields
