A majority of Halo fans agree that one of the major downfalls of Halo: Reach was the lack of a true ranking system with visual confirmation of numerical rank. In previous games it went from 1-50, but I have a revolutionary idea that could change the course of Halo forever–a ranking system from 50 to 1.
Why this is BETTER. All of the less skilled players who were incapable of reaching 50 in Halo 2 or 3 could start off as a 50 in halo 4, and the worst of the worst can remain a 50 and boast about their higher numerical value to more skilled players. They could say cliche remarks like, “Get a 50 kid,” and actually feel good about themselves. Also, we wouldn’t have the problem of people trying to sell their 50 accounts, because 50’s would be relatively easier to achieve.
In the end this simple idea would have a reverse-psychological effect bringing the Halo community together and reviving a series that many felt was flat-lining on the tables of video game mortality. This idea is one step towards bringing Halo back to the immortality and popularity it once knew. Vote YES on 50-1!
Now discuss and deliberate, fellow MasterChiefSpartan117s.
Haha, not sure if a joke?
People would just say: “Go get a 1 you badkid” instead.

;] yep pretty much this ha.
Haha, I hope you’re not serious OP ^^
The flaw of the numeric system is that it’s so shallow, a 50 is good and anything beneath it is bad, not to mention how easy it was to manipulate the system. What Halo needs are solid, text based ranks based on performance.
“Defensive player”, “Offensive player”, “Objective player”, “Power Weapons guy” etc, to desribe how they play. Defend the objective, rush for kills, team player, camper, power weapon user, designated driver etc ^^
I disagree. On a basic level this would make sense, but I am thinking outside the box on this one. I believe that having a ranking system in reverse would have a psychological effect that would decrease the level of trash talking and overall XBL rage and boost overall productivity of the true skill system. For now, this is just a theory. I hope to provide enough proof to turn this into Spider’s Law of Reverse Ranking System in Halo 4.
I doubt people would say it! It doesn’t sound right. And if somebody did say it it would probably lead to laughter at the silliness of the sound reducing the tension of everyday competitive matchmaking.
