Hey everyone!
I didn’t wanna say anything due to a lack of an official announcement, but this has been something that I (with many other gamers I’m sure) have been waiting for literally over a decade. I cannot express my excitement for finishing the fight on PC. Of course, I played the rest of the Halo games on the 360, but it sucked not being able to experience it on the platform that I much rather prefer. By the time current-gen consoles were rolling out, I’d already ascended to PCMR, so I wasn’t going to buy a whole new console just to play MCC and Guardians. It sucked even more since Halo is my #1 favorite video game franchise, and something I’ve cherished my entire childhood.
343 had my curiosity when Halo Infinite was announced to be on PC. And with this new MCC announcement, they’ve finally gotten my attention. Despite their shortcomings on Halo 4, 5, and the initial release of MCC, they’re now showing that they’re listening to community and giving players what they want. I know that there’s a lot more to be done in order to bring Halo back to its former glory. And while I’m very excited for Halo Infinite, I’m still taking it with a grain of salt. But in the meantime, you guys can find me playing Halo when the MCC rolls out on PC. It’s good to be back.

The way I see it, whether you play on Console or PC, the more Halo players the better!
It’s been a long time coming for Halo’s return to PC, I still have my PC copies of Halo CE and Halo 2 Vista. Halo was the only reason I got a Xbox One, when 360 was released I had Halo 3 preordered before i even had a 360. As far as an Xbox one, Microsoft really was my driving decision to purchase one as they had sent me a free copy of Halo 5 in the mail. I am so excited to see the return of Halo on PC as well as Halo Infinite coming to PC, my only hope is that no microtransactions what so ever touch these games, in a world of money hungry microtransactions, it would be nice to see Halo as a beacon of light for non microtransaction games.

I’m the same, I switched to PC during the Xbox 360 era and while I’ve played MCC and H5 that was just the campaigns on a borrowed Xbox. It’s been years since I’ve played Halo properly.
Just as amped as you man. I have a couple friends who have never owned an Xbox and subsequently haven’t ever played through the halo campaigns. I will be buying MCC for them on pc if they do not get it themselves and make them play through all the legendary campaigns with me haha.
Also loved the competitive scene back when I was playing in H2/H3 and really hope that kicks up again… maybe ninja will stream MCC and pull in crazy amounts of new players.
