Returning to Halo after a year (ish)

Just over a year ago just I left playing Halo 4 multiplayer.

Some of it was university related but the most part was I felt MM was broken.
It became a DMR shootout, which in turn became very boring, very quickly.

After Black Friday and getting the DLC, which should’ve been included in the legendary edition I payed so much for, for a third of the price I decided to jump back on and give Halo 4 multiplayer a go.

To tell you the truth I am enjoying it. It has an evolved Halo 3 feel. So it is fair to say I am enjoying the game.

Thank you 3443 for bring this game back up to par with its predecessor.

My only complaint is that it took so long, and there is no DLC playlist so I can attempt to get achievements. But I guess I can’t be too picky.

The only one thing I will ask for in Halo 5 is that you please implement proper ranking system, like Halo 3, where I actually feel like I am achieving something.
I don’t care too much about gaining XP if there is no rank which also combines my actual skill level and xp like 3 did. Plus I want to be able to see it in game so I can monitor it.

Thanks again, and I hope I will meet some 3443 employees on the servers,

Let us know how long it takes for you to get bored of it =)

Yeah launch wasn’t that good, but sense they updated the game over time it’s now really good.

I think having both EXP to unlock stuff AND a skill rating like Halo 3 should be in H5 for sure. Keeps long term appeal going.

Also, the DLC thing is a huge deal that is indefensible at this point. I would also like to go for achievements… wait, I would like to simply play the maps I paid for in MM.

I agree that Halo 4 is a lot of fun now. Too bad it’s too late. Does give me confidence for Halo 5.

It’s still very chaotic and random on maps like Exile or Ragnarok or Settler, but still play daily nevertheless.
