So, when Halo 4 came out, I sold my copy of Reach, figuring I wouldn’t play it anymore. Big mistake. There was no enjoyment in Halo 4 for me at all. My wife got me another copy of Reach for Christmas this year, and I have to say - playing Reach again was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in gaming. After playing Halo 4, Reach feels like a dream. It feels like real Halo. Or at least more so than Halo 4. I look forward to sticking with Reach and enjoying playlists with decent maps, no kill cam, no instant respawns, and most of all no ordinances. Happy new year everyone 
Not gunna say I hate Halo 4, I actually really enjoy it, but I really believe Reach is superior and I will continue to play it till the game DIES. Servers shut down type die.
Even after almost 60 days of gameplay, it just doesn’t get old. Makes me sad to think there will never be new playlists added to this great game though

Reach is just so much more fun than H4 in many many ways.
To me, Halo 4 wasn’t necessarily a bad game. It just didn’t have a “Halo multiplayer” feel to it. But yeah, Reach is superior in every way though. I still love playing it. It never gets old for me.
Game looks great and plays well for me. I go back to it every now and then.
Yeah, I lasted about 8 months before returning to Reach. After hitting SR130 and obtaining my Gungnir armor I didn’t see any reason to continue playing. I hate 95% of the Halo 4 armor (skins included), and the rest is just unlocking weapon accommodations which is boring.
Reach is my preferred style in terms of play and design. It doesn’t have the best maps, DMR bloom and AC users can still be annoying, but I have a much better time in Reach.
I’m sick of Halo 4 and thinking about getting back into Reach. Friend me/message me if anyone needs a player for custom games or just general Reach fun. (XXcurlyheadXX)

I have always loved reach dearly and im a mega halo fan right back to CE and it just makes me laugh how many people slated reach at release and many months after until 4 came out, I never understood what people would -Yoink- about, yeah I know armour lock is a -Yoink- but grow a pair and beat that noob down Likewise I will love reach forever,

Man…I love (most of) the Reach community. Seems like the people left are all so loyal. Totally agree though. I’ll probably still system link with some of my friends when the servers go down. Curse that day…
But anyways, Reach is just a great game that just never gets old for me. If I had to be eternally trapped somewhere with only one video game to play, it would be Halo Reach.
I miss the days of it being the newest Halo game. New playlists, DLC, more people, playing the playlists you wanted cause they all had enough people…yeah. Good times, and more good times to come.
Now…for a DLC playlist…
Everyone likes different halo titles for different reasons, it doesn’t necessarily mean that your favourite halo is the best for me though, I enjoy halo 4 more than reach, but that’s just me

I lasted 1 hour 20 mins with H4. I was in denial for most of that time.
I will never get the time back, but at least I got my money back.
Love all the replies. Nice to know there’s still some of the good 'ol Halo community out there. I do miss the days when Reach was topping the XBL charts and tons of montages and other community content were being cranked out. But I’ve been playing games on Reach for the past 2 weeks with old friends and having TONS of fun. I can queue up over, and over, and over again on Reach and never get bored. After 2 games on Halo 4, I’m just angry/bored for whatever reason. Long live Reach!
I too miss those days. Greatly. Although I really only shared good memories with 2 of my good friends, they were sure great. I really miss the popularity of Reach…new playlists, DLC. AUGH!!! Makes me wanna cry sometimes. Haha
It’s literally my favorite game, so to see it decline like this is very sad. But hey! Send me a friend request if you wanna play some Reach, I’m on Reach every weekend at some point for a few hours.
I don’t actually see Reach declining - it seems to be at a plateau in population numbers. In fact, quite a few times I’ve noticed a larger pop on Reach than on H4.
Now, what happens when DESTINY comes out, that’s another question.
But even though I just know I’ll play DESTINY (on whichever system) coz I’m a Bungie die-hard, I’ll always play Reach.
I don’t place my loyalties to companies. I don’t care who makes Halo as long as it’s good. Or any other game. I’ll buy destiny when I hear it’s an amazing game. I simply don’t have enough money for both Xbox One and Halo 5.
I’m more a Halo fan than anything though. But seriously, I don’t want on par with other games population for Reach, it HAS declined and will unfortunately so, continue to. It simply isn’t what it used to be.
