One of the most underrated weapons in any Halo game is the Silenced SMG and it was only featured in one game. Amazingly fun to use, unique compared to the AR or BR, the first auto weapon in Halo to have a scope…i would love to see this weapon make a return. How about you?
I agree, silenced Pistol and SMG. My heart stopped when I saw them in headhunters.
For me the SMG never seemed to fit in Halo. The AR fits perfectly, good mix of range and rate of fire, the AR does what the SMG does only better.
The SMG was awesome they should bring it back.

Yes, I loved it on ODST. So elegant and useful weapon in skilled hands.
I think the Silenced SMG and Silenced Pistol would be awesome, just so long as they do not replace the assault rifle or standard pistol.
The SMG is one of my fav weapons. Now if the AR can sport a faster fire rate in a precise manner like the SMG then I’d say throw out the SMG.

The SMG itself isn’t in Halo 4, let alone the Silenced SMG, it was useless compared to the SMG.

It won’t. The game is in its final stages and nothing can be added at this point. Perhaps Halo 5.
I didn’t like the silenced SMG and wouldn’t like to see it return. It felt like I was doing no damage in legendary on ODST and the point of the scope seemed redundant as it was a sub machine gun, not a precision weapon where a head shot is needed for a quick and easy kill.
Well that’s just my 2 cents.
Just want to add that I don’t understand why a silencer is necessary in Halo. The normal SMG is great and I wouldn’t mind seeing its return.
Hope it makes a comeback. But at this stage, I doubt it
