I know right! This excites me because I wasn’t much liking the helmets so far. Besides the default spartan IV, Master Chiefs helmet, and the ODST one. But with this I have a feeling that a few helmets from Halo 3/Reach will be returning in thier traditional form. Hopefully this is true with other armor pieces too. Like chest and shoulders.
I’m excited about this, even though I probably won’t use the scout helmet. It just goes to show previous armor will be coming back. And that Halo 4 won’t be like Reach where all armor options are basically new. Now we’ll have new and old. Which is a good thing. There will be more variety in what people choose now.
It had a close resemblence from the screenshots (From a camera looking at the screen, not the in game screenshots so the screen was blue), atleast it’s not like the one in Reach, that looked nothing like the Halo 3 Scout
Its the exact same scout helmet that we have been seeing since E3 in the armory pics. And yes, its almost exactly like the scout helmet from halo 3
So far it looks like we can recreate Commander Palmer:

Torso: Scout
Shoulders: Scout
Forearm: Inner-Plated
Legs: Outer-Plated
Visor: Recruit

Gotta 'gree. Forgive me if it’s been said before (a million times ), but whenever I saw H3’s I had to think “Heheh, quack.”
Old for me, but I guess it’s new for some. Anyway, it’s a huge improvement over Halo 3’s Scout.

Yeah I didn’t like it either, I didn’t realize it was supposed to be the Scout helmet… never read the caption. But I’m glad the Halo 3 style is coming back.
