Sure, I’m not sure what faction would still have them at this point but I assume they are still out there. They were always fun to fight.

One of my favorite moments of Halo 3 were the times were the UNSC and Covenant fought with a ton of vehicles while this giant purple walking death machine made of worms and metal roamed across the battlefield, so yes.

The Lich was a poor substitute.
Hopefully we will have at least one epic battle, with at least 3 scarabs, and maybe a mammoth, etc…

I’d love to see an epic vehicular battle with a few Mammoths and Elephants fighting a few Scarabs and Locusts. Throw in some Scorpions, Grizzlies, Wraiths (both kinds), Banshees, Hornets, Phantoms, Pelicans, Warthogs, Revenants, Spectres, and Wolverines - and you’ve got yourself a hell of a battle.
I enjoyed fighting them, but they were a little too easy to outmanuever. Once I knew how to kill them, they would basically spin in circles never firing their weapons until crippled.
All I’m suggesting is scarabs with drastically altered AI.
Scarabs are cool, but I’d like to see what can be done with a dynamic Lich encounter such as a large scale air battle.

True, H5 will most likley not go back to the glory days of H3, With the maps where you could change up your strategy to fit the means, Eg, Assault on the control center. Attack with a Scorpion or a Hornet. Steal a banshee or a wraith, a version of that in H5 will make fans happy

No. Ive never understood why the covenant would deploy something with LEGS when they have antigrav tech. Why not just make a flying equivalent of the scarab?
Haven’t heard it called a “Scarab Tank” in a long time, but yes I miss Scarabs dearly. It has been 5 years since they’ve appeared in a Halo game (6 years since we’ve actually got to fight one).

Because it’s a living organism. Remember Hunters? Same worms. Same thing with the Harvester from Spartan Ops. Both were made using hunter worms.
