Return of the flood in Spartan ops or Halo 5?

Now, before we start our most likely short debate, keep in mind that this is only a possibility, not fact. I do not support or oppose this theory, and merely feel the need to state the possibility. (If this topic is already here somewhere on this site, please redirect, if not…)

Okay, so… Are we all smart enough to realize that the flood CAN’T be gone right? Despite the gravemind’s defeat in H3, have we forgotten about the other 4 Rings? Now we may not know exactly what the situation is on those rings, but according to one of the HA terminals, all the other rings stopped reporting in. As to wether they really are flood outbreak or some other disaster (EX: Rampant AI, etc however is undetermined at this time. Although those are only the rings. As repeatedly shown, their are many other facilities where the flood was placed for study…(EX: Halo 2’s gas station where the arby found spark, Halo wars, where the whole planet was infested, Ring #5, etc) I personally doubt that the rings and the previously stated locations are the ONLY facilities to house the flood for study. Now, most likely, flood would be implemented in Halo 5 if at all, but its also possible to see them in spartan ops as well. Now, I say this because, we all know the requiem is a forerunner world etc, and their is the possibility that their are flood facilities. However, since this is where the didact has been since the firing of the rings, I highly doubt it. That said, when I say spartan ops, I’m talking about future seasons. Now to be clear: Spartan ops is the story of INFINITY, not Requiem. Which would mean at some point, infinity will leave the planet to continue its ongoing mission, stated in the campaign, which is to find the other halo rings. Which, again, presents the probability of running into the flood at some point in this journey. That is story wise however. As for the game itself, it may be more likely for the next game, considering the engine, but anythings possible.

Well, thats another theory that no one will acknowledge.
Oh, and if anyone reads this: Who would be harder to fight on LASO? Flood or Promethean? or both? 0_0

Of course the Flood isn’t gone and neither is the Gravemind, the defeat at the Ark is just a delay. The Flood will return, the Librarian is trying to give humanity all that Forerunner tech for a reason.

I really hope, I find very boring to fight those fodder Prometheans and downgraded Covenant. The only interesting thing about this campaign was the relationship between Chief & Cortana.

I know, I am merely stating how they could return in either spartan ops or Halo 5. Although their is the possibility of the covenant stumbling onto them like on the fourth ring, But that is a completely different argument (or is it?)

As with all my posts I never intend to insult or be derogatory, I merely present my theories. I am neither supportive or against this theory.
