Is anybody else getting connection errors to the halo 5 servers lately? I ended my ARK binge a few days ago and dove into forge to create some maps. Yesterday, i started having some weird issues with not being able to save, pieces in groups and after being welded changing positions for no reason, pieces ungrouping, really bad delay due to lag. But now, im completely unable to access forge and custom games because all i see on screen where maps should be displayed, is “RETRIEVING DATA” and sometimes even though im ALONE, my fireteam has changed and im back in the main menu…

i love this forge, but im seriously getting mad that people have been talking about this since mid december, and no reply anywhere from 343 about it :\ if anyone has encountered this and somehow fixed it, please tell me how

The new Forge is great! If you can be lucky enough to avoid the glitches… it really sucks when your entire map is frozen and 343 still haven’t fixed that problem in an update.

I’ve been having this issue for a week now.
I seriously hope 343 responds to these issues this week or at least addresses them in the February update.

I have had this issue a lot lately. None over the weekend (when I played the most) but all last week it happened 3 out of 4 days.

Man, I’ve been having it consistently over the past week. It’s just not going away and it only just starting getting so aggressive over the past week. I can’t do forge, customs, see stats, use the req system, use theater, do customization, see customization in games (everyone appears as recruits…), etc.
I’m getting really annoyed by this.

nope, you’re definitely not the only one.
Over on r/halo and on here, I see at least a couple posts about this issue popping up per day. It really is game-breaking for me. All I do is forge, customs, and warzone and right now…none of those are available for me to play (I can still play Warzone but the entire req system is nonexistent…which pretty much defeats the whole point of warzone/assault). This issue has gotten worse in the past several days and 343 has just not addressed this issue at all.

It is kind of annoying to be retrieving data after a game, unable to buy REQ packs or see the post-game carnage.

Only happens every once in awhile and fixes itself by the end of the next game. Usually.

It’s a pretty cruddy feeling when you get into a New Warzone game and try to get your first Leveled up load-out only to see “Retrieving Data” and know you’re basically out of the game minus scraps you find on the ground. And I don’t quit due to punishment involved(Ban).

I get the retrieving Data maybe 50% of the time on Halo 5, I either have to keep on hard resetting till it works.
I get it sometimes a lot during Warzone matches, so I cant use my Reqs, then I have to hard reset afterwards. But it can get very annoying the slow speed of this game

Yes, I’ve been also noticing a delay in grenade tosses.
