Well i’ve had a very stressful week on Halo Reach. After a 6 month break from Xbox the first thing i wanted to do was come back to halo reach and grind and grind and grind but what’s the point we don’t get any decent challenges no more and also the weekly challenges don’t change i.e we’ve had revenge 2 weeks on the trot now.
Also the community just isn’t there anymore i just wish the vibe would come back i wish there wa more passionate players around not just boosters and little kids.
So question for you all what do you think of the state of halo reach at the moment ?

Not a bad idea. Reach has been retired itself for years.

Well all the “pros” moved on to Halo 4. (Notice the quotes, lol at pro gamers).
To me, Halo 4 resembles Call of Duty too much, and the overall game just didn’t really do it for me. I deleted it from my hard drive recently.
As for Reach, I’ve been playing a lot of Anniversary Classic which is the best playlist in my opinion.
I think you are insane for leaving the game. Reach is one of the best Halo games out there and you’re leaving it? Just because the challenges are the same every week? Whenever I play reach I feel like I’m playing a real game. Whenever I pop in Halo 4 I think about how sad it is that 343i basically killed the entire game franchise. I still have loads of fun whenever I play Reach.
Continue playing Reach if you want to.
Otherwise, go and do something outside of video-games or find a video-game you really like or wanted to try out!
Maybe come to Halo 4? It’s certainly improved a lot since launch.
I still comeback to enjoy the campaign with my own spartan.
And my own made version of firefight of course. (I want to challenge myself)
MP is still fun but there is a lot of grenade spamming, good thing I have armor lock.

Anniversary Classic is my fave as well.
You hardly ever have to wait for a game and there is just the right mixture of experienced and nnobs to make it interesting.
One fault it does have though is that the team selection invariably has all the higher-ranks in one team (usually Red).
This is bound to be discouraging for the freshies.
Halo 4 can keep all the MLG traihardz, HALO PLAYERS STAY AT HALO REACH!!!

Yeah, it’s really great. Closest you can get to Halo 3 MP!

While I still prefer reach over Halo 4, I think I’m mostly done with it too.
The cheating in this game has become so excessive now that nearly every game people quit, lag switch, or use other cheats to win. Nearly every person from Mexico I face off against in MM is cheating or their connection is laggy as hell, and any iteration of FF is nearly unplayable now unless it’s a local game. Besides, 343 doesn’t give two -Yoink- worth when it comes to Reach.
I have 3.5 years of great Reach gaming memories and an Inheritor rank to know it’s time to move on now. The most I’ll miss is my Gungnir armor. I know it’s in Halo 4 but it looks like crap in comparison just like all the armor does in that game.

You say about hackers however I’ve played a lot of reach and I have only seen about 2 people I think were hacking but last few times i played I have not seen any hackers. Anyway I only play reach now for Invasion but the game is close to being dead.
