I believe that the movement and gunplay in halo infinite seem to be very impacted by the reticle sizing of the weapons (and in extension their accuracy). The Reticle for the Infinite AR is comparable to the previous game’s precision weapons. The reticles are even smaller for infinite’s precision weapons making them comparable to a sniper rifle.
The issue is worse for PC/Monitor players who are closer to their screens and increase their FOV for comfort. unfortunately, that comfort gained by a higher FOV makes the reticles even smaller and hyper-competitive. Halo MCC does not have this issue because the hud/ reticle do not scale with a higher or lower FOV. Please allow players to raise their FOV without making all the Reticles as small as a sniper. This reduces the quality of each match to play like a weird Snipers-only mode.
Possible solutions:
- Leave the Reticle the same size for every FOV as it is visible on FOV:78
- Increase the reticle size of the weapons without reducing their accuracy.
- Increase the reticle size of the weapons with reducing their accuracy.
