Resumed Reloads for Halo: Infinite PLEASE

As the tittle says resumed reloads are a critical feature in competitive FPS games today
numerus titles support this and usually it’s just a quick quality of life update only requiring a few lines of code

I’ll also explain for anyone unaware of what I’m talking about,
Lets say you empty your magazine and reload however 25% through your reload, after removing the magazine you vault, sprint or do something that cancels the reload
when you resume reloading again, it should just resume where you left off finishing the remaining 75% of the animation, putting in the magazine and chambering the round.

I have had friends suggest this as well. I don’t know about this. It sounds like a cool suggestion that I think I would like in other games, but I don’t think it is something I would really want in Halo. From my understanding, this basically means that after you get done doing the disrupting thing (sprinting, melee, etc) you have to finish the reloading animation. I might not always want to do that. Reload cancelling is a strategy that I leverage quite a bit, particularly with sprint. I do it to reload while avoiding having to watch the rest of the animation. I might also need to cancel my reload because someone else came around the corner. In my opinion, the way it is now is the better way overall.
