Ok so I’ve noticed that some of the people on halo 5 are very disrespectful when it comes to an online match. I was playing halo recently and some -Yoink- decided it was a good idea to start team killing and getting other people to teamkill and in the end only three people on our team remained and we failed the firefight mission.

Yeah, that’s unfortunate. That best thing you can do in that situation is report the player(s) who are acting up using the in game report system.
every community has some toxic players

…or just quit and try your luck in the next game.
Works a treat.

Quitting doesn’t solve the problem, Reporting it does. You shouldn’t undertake one bad action in response to someone else’s bad actions unless it’s necessary.
It’s a true shame really, since there are people who betray way more often than helping out.
In firefight the only way to team kill is to splatter some one with a vehicle. So just spawn in your own vehicle and ignore them and just play the objective. Report after the game if you want.

Ive actually started doing this. I dont use weapons anymore. The last one i played i only use vehicles and had over 100 ai kills. Next highest ALMOST had 50. Crazy stuff.

Unfortunately I’ve found out the hard way (meaning it has happened to me) that unless you spawn an air vehicle or tank type vehicle (if you have some reqs for them in the first place) , the other vehicles are unstable enough to allow them to be flipped and destroyed. I find tanks are almost to slow to do any good especially if you end up spawning on the opposite side of the map from the action, so I rarely use those reqs,
Most times I just rely on the Boot Option and Hope me or a friend is close by when it happens to be able to take over the vehicle when the sorry sob gets kicked.

I know what you mean but even tanks can get flipped as I have found out a couple of times. It’s best to stay from them if you can.
I’ve been in a WZFF match in which one player had 17 spartan kills. In that same match there was a total of 47 spartan kills.
I’ve had someone tell me it was my fault we lost the match

You should see call of duty… We’re pretty civilized compared to that fan base.
Welcome to halo

The mantis does wonders too. Only thing I’ve seen do anything to it is when someone spawns in a banshee and continuously tries doing backflips to you in an attempt to do damage. Other than that they can just spray their AR at you and charge at it all they want to no effect. No way to accidentally betray in a mantis (In H5 anyway), and they can sprint at it all they want but they can’t get splattered by it. Even a scorpion can betray if they try hard enough ramming it while you’re driving.

Was this August 15? I was in a heroic match that day where some guy stole my ghost (complicated story) and ran people over with it including me. I wonder if it was the same match, it was on temple.
P.S. this is my first time typing on forum idk if i did this right
Ya, a lot of people are just disrespectful in general when it comes to gaming. Although, in Halo 5 since it’s so competitive I have seen a lot of attitude that “I’m better then you”. Again what I do since I don’t put up with things like that is report them and also block them.

I admire the high-mindedness, but I feel like you left a pretty big loophole in the form of “unless it’s necessary.” If a teammate betrays me intentionally then how could leaving the match be anything other than absolutely imperative? Life is too short for me to spend even ten seconds being the object of anyone else’s sociopathy.

I tend to define "necessary’ to mean required or mandatory. I.E. I have something kind of emergency, some is happening in real life, there is a power outage or disconnect, or something along those lines. I’m not willing to let other people compromise my ethics. If you act badly, that doesn’t entitle me to act badly.

Really, I don’t see anything too bad with quitting a game (unless it’s mythic or something). When my teammates leave, I never even notice. Don’t they get replaced? It’s kind of a win - win, you get to leave the game and someone else joins halfway. If we’re talking about warzone firefight, joining halfway is good because it is a faster game and you get the win bonus and warzone win commendation, the hardest one.
