What if the spawns directed you toward the closest enemy to prevent being spawn killed…
What if the radar also had a red rim outside of the dots to show u where the enemy was from a distance to help…

I like your ideas, but mabye if they made a spawn zone that you spawned in and then when you spawn it teleports you to the actual map.
A way to prevent spawn killing is always good. A robust spawning system and intelligent map design can probably mitigate it, but I wouldn’t mind looking into new mechanics if necessary.
Good idea. I hate being spawn killed.
There is the nemesis armor mod in Halo 4 that allows you to see the last enemy the killed you.
Not big on your suggestions, but I like your thoughts.
Spawn killing sucks… HARD! It makes Halo no fun in my opinion, but as TriassicScone says, good, intelligent map design can fix that issue.
As far as radar thing goes, I’m not big on that idea. I think radar is fine as is but I do think some maps should have 1… or maybe 2 guns on a map as pick up items that “mark” the enemy for a time showing where they are. I think this could be a decent counter weapon against snipers, invis. and so forth as well. Kind of like the plasma pistol is against overshields.
Both are very powerful in terms of map awareness. I think a motion tracker plus a directional indicator are overkill. This keeps yours eyes glued to one corner of the screen, and that’s no fun.
