I know the respawn times are already long enough as it is, but it’s annoying when someone goes out of their way to splatter everyone with their Ghost or Hog. Nothing should be added if it’s an accident and only happens once (or twice at the most), but I don’t see why someone who’s splattered 3 or 4 people in the same life should be given the same respawn time as the people they killed.
[Didn’t realize there was already a booting system in place when I posted this, sorry]

That’s not what I was suggesting, I meant a number-based system to give a free pass for only one splatter (which is typically an accident, hence why I included that). Didn’t know about the booting system, which nullifies my idea in the first place.
Remove Friendly Fire? I still remember the -Yoinks!- on Halo 3 doing this only they’d just walk around with a Plasma Pistol and EMP your shield or vehicle until you killed them. Oh and you’d get booted so just remove ff.

I like friendly fire as long as the booting system we’ve always had is still in place. Since WZFF doesn’t have friendly fire, I didn’t realize there was still a booting system for splatters.
Wish they would remove any damage inflicted by hitting some one with a vehicle. Today I accidentally splatter some one on the destroy ghost round on Apex seven. I think he had jumped out of a warthog or something as he was in the middle of the battlefield surrounded by ghost and what not. I had boosted and he jumped right in front of me. Pretty sure it was an accidental on both our parts . But later he was a yoink about it and decided to ram my Hannibal tank he got it to the point where it was on fire and really delayed me getting to the area of the last round. It was pretty frustrating. Suck how there is no friendly fire but yet you can damage others with vehicles, doesn’t make sense to me. I did report him but we know that is pointless, should have saved the video of it.
On a related note, I’ve noticed with much disdain that griefers are getting really bad in Warzone Firefight. We all know them and hate them; the children who see fit to boost into you with a Wraith, destroying your Warthog and killing people in it. Or the people who Spartan Slam your Chosts to get you out of them so they can either steal/destroy them. Or the people who stomp you with their Mantises…

Maybe I am just lucky, but I play lots of Warzone Firefight and I can’t remember the last time I saw anybody griefing. However, I have seen lots more afk boosters. The people who don’t play, but occasionally nudge the controller so they don’t get inactivity booted, or sometimes have their controller set to make them randomly shoot and move around. I wonder if it’s because 343 announced a special little thing in Halo Infinite for getting to 152 in Halo 5, but either way I hope I am not the only one reporting those -Yoinks!-. Seems like they’ve become more common lately >_>

Noticed a mix of both here. Sure as hell reporting them all. There was one guy who was in the entire match but ended up with fewer than 10 kills in a match where we had a round of Gruntpocalypse and one with a goblin. New player? Nope, 140-something.

Seriously, I’ve seen tons of those in the past few weeks and it’s annoying as hell. They’re even worse than griefers. When I’m in a game with people only using loadout weapons on the last round (for whatever reason), they’re always the weak link that ends up making us lose.

I can say yeah I see more of the “afk’ers” in matches than griefers. A favorite seems to be players who are just in a constant state of melee where they clealry just taped the melee button down. But they don’t bother me as much as some one who griefs. That guy who was blocking me from moving and essentially destroyed my Hannibal tank is way more frustrating, especially since there is nothing you can do about it.
I’ve ran into a few teammates who spartan charge me to get my ghost or purposefully run me over, however it is rare. From my experience most everyone is cool. Ya, there are frustrating twerps but they’re rare and I try my best to not let them ruin my day. When my ghost was stolen I was pissed so tried my best to get it back but when I realized the bad mood I was getting into I stopped and refocused on the objectives.

At least they got any kills, unlike the afk boosters I’ve been matched with. I wonder if that person just got lost during Gruntpocalypse (it happened to me the first time) and spent the rest of the match driving someone in a Warthog? Or maybe they handed the controller to their 5-year-old kid or something. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt But anyway thank you for reporting afk boosters whenever you see them.

I feel the same way. I get annoyed by afk boosters much more than griefers. Honestly, I really don’t care if people try to damage or steal my vehicles. I’ve got plenty, so calling in another one isn’t a big deal. Probably the most annoying form of griefing I’ve encountered is people driving my Warthog off a cliff while I’m in the turret, which is really no more annoying than getting teabagged. Just makes me go “ok, you’re childish”. Other forms of griefing I mind even less.
But those afk boosters make me so irritated. Who are you even trying to impress? Nobody cares if you are rank 152, if you got it by doing that. It’s kind of pathetic and I have also lost games because they are dead weight on the team, which is very frustrating. I can only hope everyone else on my team reports them too, if that even does anything.
