With the latest update to the site, it seems I have lost all of the unique tidbits that had previously been bestowed upon me. I had the Master of Unicorns rank which I fell in love with, the ability to leave a signature, and the director’s badge for having a video showcased in the bulletin. All of this changed once the new Waypoint revamp occurred. The problem appears to be stemming from a year or two ago, back in the days of the gamma/beta forums. I changed my gamertag during that period and the site gave me an error which denied me usage of the forums. BS Angel awesomely was able to fix it, though I was using the forums with my old username: “II Holoe II” which was fine by me, but alas this might be another case of a missing identity.
I think this new site structure automatically detects my gamertag and assigns me to the username/profile that corresponds to it. Being as my username on the forums is different than my gamertag, I’m guessing it gave me a different profile to use. At first I thought, maybe the forum gods could just assign me back my old profile and everything would be back to normal, but upon going to previous threads I had posted on, it now lists my former profile as a guest… no name, no rank, no badges, just “guest”. This is all quite heartbreaking, not to mention the 17th of this month would’ve marked the 3rd year I had dedicated to these forums. I had grown quite attached to being a master of le unicorns and having a badge that reminded me of my (microscopic) status here on the site.
I’m also aware this format is still new and going through changes, but I still see people with their former badges and previously attained ranks (including MoU), and have yet to find anyone with the guest issue, so I figured I’d post about it. All of my favorites, replies, inbox messages, outbox messages, all of it… gone. It’s all quite strange, almost as if my former alias and its attained specialties were all lost in time and space during the transition. Quite strange however how I’m Marine - Silver, none of this quite adds up. It feels like I’m close to cracking the case, but then again, I have no real clue on what’s happening here… so I suppose the most I can do that is in my power here is to ask for some help. Figured I’d run this through the help section to see if it’s worthy of contacting some site admins or BS Angel herself.
I know this isn’t a major issue, but any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers mates.

No worries. Seems like the system is a little slow for some. You’re not the first person that’s had this issue
When I was searching the forums yesterday, I hit a message saying that some content was still syncing. So perhaps it just took a little time for everything to be indexed and updated; Nice to see the Master of Unicorns lives on, with a shiny badge too
