I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem I’ve been running into. I’ve been trying (and failing) to play Halo: Reach and Halo 2 Anniversary (I haven’t tried to play Halo 3 or 4 yet so I’m not sure if the problem will exist there, but Halo CE works fine); however when I attempt to load them up it’ll either say that I’ve lost connection (something along those lines) or it’ll boot me back to the menu. I’ve only got Halo: Reach to work but the results were less than pleasing. The ground and many objects were completely black or missing textures(?). I was trying to play a firefight and the first time a drop off of enemies came my game froze up. I’m on PC using the Xbox App to play it and I was wondering if anyone knew of any fixes to this, I’ve heard you can verify files on steam but I don’t have it on steam so I’m at a loss for what to do. Do I need to reinstall the game or tweak my settings? My settings are set to high on all things with Anti Aliasing and V-Sync on, I’ve tried to play the games after turning the settings down to medium and nothing changed. Thank you for your time and if you could provide me with some form of help it’d be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I fixed the problem by updating the drivers of my graphics card, if anyone else runs into this problem please check that your graphics card is up to date and/or restart your PC. Thank you again for looking at this post I hope that my solution can help someone else.
