Resolution/AA etc: Close to final?

I am really enjoying the game play of halo 5 (yes ducking). I even liked Halo 4. The matchmaking (playing Solo) is 100x better than MCC (open NAT, USA, etc).

In terms of fidelity/presentiment, on my large screen (and I sit pretty close), this is clearly not 1080p, nor does it look like any Anti-Aliasing (really annoying at beggining of matches etc).

Has 343 commented if this resolution is the target for the final?

1080p would definitely help picking out the people far away with the BR when not in ADS.

This is nowhere near final, they have said. The focus for the beta is on gameplay, and prettying it up is the last thing they do. It’s currently 720p, 60fps, but will be 1080.

UI and Graphical polish are basically done when they move over to optimisation and bug-fixing rather than building the game.
