Bravo 343, Bravo.
You managed to go a decent amount of time without doing or saying anything to disappoint a large portion of the Halo fanbase, or without doing anything to further damage Halo 4.
In fact you were in the habit of doing mostly wonderful things for the game.
In all fairness, I was always there to acknowledge the things you did right for Halo 4 and I always made sure to voice my satisfaction on these forums.
Just as I damn well make sure to voice my dissatisfaction with your decisions when you do wrong by Halo 4, and that is what I am here to do now.
I was loving being at peace with what you guys were doing, it honestly felt great.
But here we are again, back to square one.
Why?
Resistor - That’s why.
For those of you who do not know, Resistor is a new armor mod that will be coming with the Champions Bundle.
It “allows Spartans to maintain their full mobility and dexterity while taking incoming fire.”

It’s no secret that many Halo fans (what percentage we don’t know) disagree with sprint being in Halo.
One of the main reasons being that it allows players to escape encounters more easily, as their enemy will have to stop shooting in order to chase them at an equal speed.
Instead of listening to our feedback and respecting our dislike of many of the effects of sprint on gameplay, you have decided to create something that will ultimately worsen the main problem that sprint causes to Halo 4.
What’s next? Will there be a title update that ensures every Personal Ordnance drop will have an Incineration Cannon in it?
Will you claim that this is what fans have been begging for all this time?
Will Rocket Launchers be made a primary loadout option, with a bottomless clip?
Will your excuse be that using anything other than a power weapon is too much like hard work?
As a team, I really think you need to re-evaluate your view on how a Halo game should work, because at the moment you are getting far too many things wrong, and I say that with the best of intentions.
