Just picked it up last night, and I have to say, I’m really enjoying it. A little disappointed that it strayed from the survival horror, but nonetheless, really fun. Pleasantly surprised about the versus modes, their AWESOME!
Anybody else have this, who feels like getting some games in?
(Also, apologies if this forum isn’t for threads like this. It says general X-Box topics, and we have a ME3 thread, so I just figured…)
Glad to hear it was good, i was thinking of renting it. Also, what do you mean by it strayed away from survival horror?

It’s A LOT more action-y. Not that it’s inherently bad - I enjoy it. Makes a nice change from the last five games. Just make sure going in, you’re not expecting to play it like the other games in the series. The best I could do to describe it, would be saying; it’s kind of some strange hybrid of Gears of War / Rainbow Six, and L4D.
I’d definitely give it a go, though it seems that you either love it or hate it. Renting it is definitely a good idea.
You’re fine with this thread.
I got it on release day and man, do I love it. Ever since the mini-game in Resident Evil 2 where you play as HUNK, I’ve wanted a game like this. Long time waiting, and I finally got what I want.
I keep wanting to play it (I just beat it last night), but I really need to get through ME3.
All in all, though, ORC is a pretty good game. I’m loving it! There’s even some parts in the game that made me gasp, both in the campaign and online. I haven’t had that since the older titles (Interrogation Room Licker for instance).

Hey thanks for letting me know! Heard about this but i don’t know much about it! Does it have anything to do with raccoon city? or is it a game of its own???

The game takes place during the Raccoon City incident in 1998.
It takes place during Resident Evil 2’s and 3’s timeline, but is more closely related to Resident Evil 2.
A Spec-Ops campaign is going to be released later that’s more related to Resident Evil 3’s timeline.
While the game takes place during that incident, it also is more of a stand-alone and “what if?” title.
