Can someone please tell me the logic of a tank turret RESETTING itself after an EMP blast from the plasma pistol?
I’m fairly freakin’ sure that an EMP knocks out electrical activity. I’m also freakin’ sure that a turret on a tank needs electricity to move. Why the hell the reset?

To make it easier for plasma pistol noobs to hijack your tank ofcourse!
Pretty sure tanks dont need electricity to fire their cannon tho
I hear you man, I was just complaining about this the other day. The tank is already at a disadvantage on that map (For various reasons, size being the most prominent). And this is beyond irritating when it happens.

Tank turrets need primarily hammers to propel a shot, but what really propels the tank shell is a magnetic rail system that needs electricity.
On top of that, in terms of gameplay, it’s kinda ridiculous when compared to the wraith. Someone told me, “Well, the wraith mortar gets sent back into it’s shell.” Yeah, but when it pops back out, you don’t need to full-on 90-degree turn it at the speed of a snail crawling.
@Ashen: I agree. Exile is a horrible map for the tank to be in. The terrain, for one, is terrible for the tank, it throws off the damn angles, not to mention certain features of the map just plain get in the way. It’s just terrible in general.

The best place is to hang just over the slope after the bridge on the right heading towards the Blue base after coming out of the tank spawn location. You maneuver the tank just the ridge (back and forth) to destroy people and vehicles coming from that direction and have the blue base covered as well as all vehicle and foot traffic covered from the other side bridge heading to the blue base. It helps to have a gunner on board and if possible a third teammate hanging close by to take out any enemies trying to sneak and destroy the tank.

Pretty much this. It isn’t a guarantee by any means, but if you have decent teammates, it’s a pretty solid setup.

This is all assuming that you can get the Scorpion out of that garage it spawns in. Considering that Blue team has the Gauss Hog, Rockets, and spawns arguably closer to the Banshee this is a formidable line up against the one Scorpion. (Which is only capable of withstanding A) Three Gauss rounds B) Three Banshee FRG rounds C) Two Rockets or lastly D) A combination of A, B, and C.)
However if you can get it out then your usually good with it just sitting on that bridge, I would know because I’ve done it quite a few times.

Agreed.
However, if I am on the Red team I usually, 9 out of ten games on Exile if spawned as Red team, take out the Gauss Hog within the first 15-30 seconds of the game and this usually occurs in front or just past the spawn site of the Banshee so i the event they drop a passenger off there too you and others can start on the Banshee. Then,I ensure that when the next Gauss Hog is ready to spawn, the Blues 9 times out of ten don’t get it because I ensure we (Red team) do.
If I am on the Blue team, ensure we maintain the Gauss Hogs as they spawn as we ll attempt to steal the Scorpion when its ready to spawn.

Scorpion OP?You’re completelly wrong my friend.It’s a tank,it does what it’s ment to do,destroying everything.Just don’t in open spaces and you’ll live
There something I always have been curious about… Why tanks don’t have the secondary fire? I’m pretty sure in Halo CE tanks could also shoot with the machine gun while charging a new cannon rod…

Vehicles are supposed to be stronger than foot soldiers AND give you the advantage.
Remember Halo 3 when you get the scorpian on the desert map and you’re plowing through the hunters and everything? TANK BEATS EVERYTHING.
If anything the tank is too weak in Halo 4. When you’re in a tank, you’re supposed to be nigh indestructible, except if a soldier can get close enough to board. Instead, all the vehicles are paper mache.

It did until they decided that a Tank would have two pilots, one for the machine gun and one for the cannon. I guess to tone it down a bit, and to give more of a reward if a player kills a tank.
