Reset option for Reach progression on Xbox and PC

I love playing Halo and all other kinds of games and the thing i love the most is having the choice to start anew from zero to whatever goal i have planned. And i hadnt played Halo Reach in 3 years so i booted my Xbox One to play it from the beginning (Meaning without Rank, Without Cr or any unlocks) to have a fresh experience as if it was 2011. But i cant! I have tried countless things like erasing my Save data or having Cloud Sync disabled but i just cant get rid of my things that i no longer want. I have quite the array of good stuff like visor colors armor pieces and helmets but i dont want them i just want to start from zero again.

Sorry OP but resets like this have never been a part of any Halo game, there’s no way for you to reset your stats. What you could do is create a new account and play through on that

Well i am sorry if you arent someone important but if i have to speak to some higher up employee in 343 to reset my stats i will do it. This is a basic option that should be available to any player.

343 won’t be able to help in this regard either. No Halo game to date has offered the ability to reset your stats

Stckrboy is important here and he knows what he is talking about.

Why would you want to reset your progress on this game!? Rank and armor mean nothing so those are out of the question, the only thing I can think of for resetting your stats offhand would be if you lost games in certain playlists and as such you wanted to have a high win percentage on HTR? Or similar but for k/d?

If thats the case simply create a very similar gamertag or add v2 or something to yours, that’s what a lot of my XBL friends did. Everyone like me that follows such things would know that it was in fact you that reached such milestones.

This has absolutely nothing to do with multiplayer i just want to be able to play ¡offline! And get the satisfaction of unlocking gear or earning Cr as if i have just started playing the game. I dont play multiplayer since years ago i just want to start anew. AND I WONT MAKE ANOTHER ACCOUNT that is ridiculous.

The gear has no impact upon gameplay whatsoever so that is inconsequential. As for starting over? Start over with a new gamertag. I’m not sure why that’s difficult for you to understand.

Sorry but you are the one that is such a fan of Halo and 343 that you dont understand a BASIC option that should be available to any player in any game. Making another account is so troublesome most normal people dont do it.

I’m afraid at this time, If you really want to start from 0, that’s your only option. It’s the way the game was designed (by Bungie, not 343) and 343 no longer providing title updates to those games

But they can fix this in the Steam release on PC (Unless 343 wants people to hack their accounts for this kind of simple feature)

It’s highly unlikely to be a feature for MCC on PC either, right now their focus is on getting the games working and ready for flighitng. You can suggest it as a potential feature in future using the dedicated feedback threads in the MCC forums

Your problem and views are the exact opposite of mine. You cant reset anything, or “prestige” in reach, but when reach comes to the mcc, youll start fresh.
Which drives me nuts, lol.
I guess all progression and stats are tied to your gamertag, not saved data on the xbone.
Interesting to learn that info.
