You said it, having marines alive does more than keep them dead, such as using them for ambushes.
yes i did read your post i wasn’t ignoring it just simply saying what I thought would make sense given their mannerisms from what i’ve seen in the games not including extra media.
Ah yeah there mannerisms have chanced sense the days of the covenant they have become more like the mongol empire, focused on raiding and using war to keep themselves together while building up what was lost long before they joined the covenant.
As it is they are just now regaining their own tech from before the covenant.
