Requisitions

Are we expecting to see similar requisitions for Halo infinite? Or will their be a completely new system similar to how they changed from Halo 4 to Halo 5? Also, what systems would everyone like to have?

I’m ok with the Req system but only for weapons. Armor is something you like to modify at the start, not something you play your tush off for months or even years to finally get the look you like…only to find out hardly anyone plays anymore because they’ve all moved on to something else.

I am hoping we keep some elements from the current REQ system, like how we use it in Warzone by earning points.

However i do hope armor permutations are unlocked via other means, perhaps challenges and achievements or the Reach cR system.
I don’t want the many random unlocks in packs. I trust everyone knows how sickening it is, to get 6 different warthog variants in one Silver pack? Mind blowingly annoying.
I hope they go back to what they originally intended with Halo 5, by having faction style packs. Originally it was supposed to be different packs, based on what faction you wanted to acquire REQs from. I recall early Alpha had UNSC Platinum crates, ONI Ultra crates and Covenant supply caches. They had alot of things they did right in Halo 5 but that was before the retail version. Taking a few steps back in regards to that system, that would improve the REQ system significantly over the current one. Halo 6 already has many rights by giving it a more classic Halo oriented art style, as well at making chief look closer to his older self. No doubt Halo 6 will make it the king of the Xbox again, it would also be one huge bonus if the newer elements were more polished and canonical, such as those REQ crates from pre-release Halo 5.

I really don’t know what to expect. We do however know there will be no paid loot boxes and customization will be Reach inspired. I would like a challenge/credit system but as far as expecting goes I have no clue.

I just want the REQ system gone. It’s not rewarding at all and makes Firefight monotonous since you can’t choose any non-loadout weapons without tapping into your REQ supply.

I’m guessing releasing the set of Magnum skins was a test of sorts to see how a commedation-based system would be received. Maybe it wasn’t, but I know a lot of players like myself were happy to see something new in H5 and a reward based on completing a task in the game. Those who weren’t happy about the new skins criticized the fact that they did not automatically have them unlocked because they had already won a ton of matches. Regardless of how the skins were distributed, it was clear players were eager to get rewarded for their wins and not have the skins show up in packs.

i like how you can earn the reqs like armor and helmets and then never get a duplicate but i i dislike having to store up the one time usable ones as you can’t buy Boosters for XP or RP or buy certain things like in warzone i like using ghosts alot and once you blow through your on hand amount then you have to keep opening req packs and stock pile what you want and scrap what you don’t.

so i see room to improve.

Scrap Warzone and Requisitions. Add unlockables and BTB at launch.

They did confirm that infinte won’t have “real money loot boxes” but that’s a very vague answer. For all we know they have have reqs return but you would have to pay for real points.

I hope there isn’t a REQ system again and there’s a fresh start to this Halo Infinite. Also for multiplayer I would love for the return of head to head (1v1). I miss playing that from the halo 2 days. Having unlockables would also be a great feature instead of the microtransactions

Play for armour would be ideal so I can unlock only the armor I’d want
