How do you use the req packs in halo 5? I can purchase a pack but then the only option is to sell the items?
Req Weapons you get in Packs are used in Warzone, so I wouldn’t sell the weapons
Here’s a couple old blogs and a video, but they explain the REQ system pretty well.
You can get permanent drop in requisitions pack. Try to purchase the gold pack, you’ll get very good drop
Once you open the pack press B to exit the ‘unboxing’ screen. When you enter any warzone gametype and interact with a REQ station you can equip any cards you have gotten. Beware though as most REQ cards are single use only so keep track of your stock.

For efficiency on getting the permanent items the cheapest, you should work your way up and only purchase golds when you get 3,000 REQ points back from a silver pack.
