Recently I have been dedicating quite a bit of time in the Halo 5 multiplayer playlists. When I first started playing Halo 5 it took a considerable amount of time for me to acquire weapon skins and visors through the gold requisition packs. I was receiving armor variants at what I considered to be a reasonable rate based off of the fact that I was just starting. However as time progressed I noticed fewer and fewer usable Spartan character items as I ranked up. Eventually I stopped playing for a little while to pursue other games. Over the past few weeks I have resumed playing ranked Slayer play lists and over all have been doing quite well in my matches. In the passed 10 or 15 gold Requisition Packs i purchased with req points and 7 or 8 promotion packs, which I RARELY receive customization items for, I have received about 3 helmets, 4 armor sets, a weapon skin and a new visor. All of which I will never use along with one third of my helmets and armor classes because everything else I consider to be incredibly bland or overly excentric. Not to mention I still haven’t received weapon skins for two of my weapons and only one skin for two of the others. Some of the friends I play with that are much lower in rank have about 10 extra items for each customization class than I do all with better looking armor. I’m not incredibly picky with armor or skins and I understand everything is randomized. I simply feel that for being a level 50 with two and a half days of total arena play time I should at least have more helmets and armor varients, that I actually like and would use, rather than just a few. Overall I’m just a little frustrated, I think the multiplayer is phenomenal for Halo 5 and I thoroughly enjoy playing it. However when I’m routinely given nothing for my efforts it begins to become very frustrating and discouraging.

Just a bit of advice; at your SR level you should probably be getting silver packs. The way to attain all of the items in the req pool with the least amount of time played is to get silvers until you receive a point refund then move on to golds.
go all silver until only very rare and legendary are left as youll get the armors faster
It’s all RNG based but if you look at the pool you have more Items such as weapons vehicles and other non customizable items than you do Spartan items. The probability is in favor of not getting Spartan items as much. Also make sure you buy silver packs before gold so you can get all uncommons through rares finished
