Requirements for "UNSC Spartan" Achievement?

In Halo 3, I’m a Sargeant. I have 24 total EXP. But I still haven’t unlocked UNSC Spartan. It did the same thing to me for the Graduate achievement. Did they change the requirements?

I believe it has to be your overall rank, not just your rank in a certain playlist.

50exp in any playlist is how you get this achievement.

I am a Sargeant overall. But I think HC Swat is right.

Ok I just got it after receiving a 10 in one playlist. To get Spartan Officer, I need 50 in one playlist.
